Who can play bubble soccer?

The bubbles are suitable for all ages. We have kid bubbles and adult bubbles. Please specify which you require when inquiring about booking, or if you want to mix it up and play with different age groups, we will try to accommodate for this as well.

Where is it played?

We have access to various grass, 3g and 4g pitches around the Teesside Area (Stockton, Middlesbrough, Thornaby and Yarm.)  Get in touch and we’ll make sure we get somewhere that’s easily accessible for you.  Unfortunately we are unable to operate games on any concrete surfaces, this is because it can damage the bubble.

What happens on the day?

We all meet at the agreed time and have a brief introduction going over the rules of bubble football middlesbrough. Following this we will have some fun and unique warm up games to get you used to the bubbles before commencing the main event and kicking off for the match.

Are the rules of bubble soccer different from normal Football?

The rules are basically the same as your standard FA football rules however there have been some slight changes to maximise the fun that can be had in the bubbles.  All will be explained at the beginning of your session but if you must know beforehand you can visit our rules page here. We also don’t allow studded football boots or metal blades to be worn.  This is because its too dangerous with people flying through the air.  We would also recommend that you wear shin pads to save your shins from any physical harm as it can be harder to time tackles perfectly when wearing the bubble suits.

Can the bubble break?

This hasn’t happened yet in our experience and we have seen the bubbles get really put to the test, but in the unlikely event that one does we have some spares available to make sure your fun isn’t effected. As long as you weren’t doing anything to intentionally break the bubble then there will be no charges incurred to the player.

Does it matter if it rains?

In most cases, raining only enhances the fun.  Slipping and sliding around on a slightly wet pitch can be hilarious. The game may be called off however if extreme weather makes playing unsafe or dangerous.  Just like normal football.
